Alka 411 is a Heavy-Duty Automotive Frame Coating, which is a rapid-drying protective enamel developed for metal underbody assemblies and exposed steel components requiring durable protection and aesthetic uniformity. The coating utilises advanced oxidative curing technology to produce a resilient protective film with good flexibility, adhesion, and atmospheric durability.

Compatible Substrates

This coating system may be applied over:

  • Zinc phosphate primers
  • Etch primers for galvanised steel
  • Existing aged coatings after compatibility testing
  • Properly prepared steel and fabricated metal surfaces

Where maintenance repainting is required, damaged or exposed metal areas should be spot-primed before topcoat application.

Storage conditions

Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Recommended storage temperature: 5°C – 35°C.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

This coating system may be applied over:

  • Zinc phosphate primers
  • Etch primers for galvanised steel
  • Existing aged coatings after compatibility testing
  • Properly prepared steel and fabricated metal surfaces

Where maintenance repainting is required, damaged or exposed metal areas should be spot-primed before topcoat application.

It can be applied by brush or roller; the selection of a roller is dependent on the type of finish required.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Xylene can be used for cleaning tools and equipment before the mixed compound begins to harden. Once cured, it can only be removed mechanically.
