Rapid Cure Protective EnamelAlka 410 is an Industrial Rapid-Cure Protective Enamel. Alka 410 is a solvent-borne finishing coating engineered for decorative and protective applications on metal and prepared substrates. The formulation incorporates advanced fast-reacting resin technology to achieve rapid surface drying, high gloss development, and durable film formation suitable for industrial production and maintenance operations.

Compatible Substrates
This coating system may be applied over:
- Zinc phosphate primers
- Etch primers for galvanised steel
- Existing aged coatings after compatibility testing
- Properly prepared steel and fabricated metal surfaces
Where maintenance repainting is required, damaged or exposed metal areas should be spot-primed before topcoat application.

Shelf life: 12 months
Storage conditions
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Recommended storage temperature: 5°C – 35°C.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
This coating system may be applied over:
- Zinc phosphate primers
- Etch primers for galvanised steel
- Existing aged coatings after compatibility testing
- Properly prepared steel and fabricated metal surfaces
Where maintenance repainting is required, damaged or exposed metal areas should be spot-primed before topcoat application.
It can be applied by brush or roller; the selection of a roller is dependent on the type of finish required.
CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Xylene can be used for cleaning tools and equipment before the mixed compound begins to harden. Once cured, it can only be removed mechanically.
